Developers Level-5 announced this weekend that, over a year after its’ initial release in Japan, White Knight Chronicles will be released to the west on the 2nd of February 2010.
The third person fantasy RPG takes players to the kingdom of Balandor where a coming of age banquet is raided by an evil sect referred to as Wizzard. A boy leads the princess to the safety of the castle cellars where he finds a suit of armour and is transformed into the White Knight.
The game, which has sold 310 000 copies in Japan to date, reportedly offers over 100 hours of gameplay. A sequel has already been announced for Japanese release.
White Knight chronicles will be a Playstation 3 exclusive.
