The beta servers for the highly anticipated MAG (Massive Action Game) have buckled under the strain of high user activity. Ironically, one of the game’s selling points is that it can support up to 256 players on one map at any given time.
The beta is running until January 11, although it remains to be seen how well Zipper handle the unforeseen problem. The developer has issued a statement promising to fix the game before its release date, although whether or not the beta is a write-off remains to be seen.
