While it’s still over a week away from launch, the first review for Naughty Dog’s apocalyptic adventure game, The Last of Us, has slipped out, and as expected, has nothing but kind words to say of the stunning-looking game.
“The Last of Us is not just the finest game that Naughty Dog has yet crafted and an easy contender for the best game of this console generation,” read Empire’s review, which was posted days ahead of embargo.
“It may also prove to be gaming’s Citizen Kane moment” and “a masterpiece that will be looked back upon favourably for decades,” the review added.
The Last of Us is undoubtedly on every gamer’s most-wanted list, whether you have a PS3 or not, and it looks like Naughty Dog are set to deliver once again on the quality that is expected of the developer.
