Quantic Dream’s just released Heavy Rain has been met with a positive critical reception and as it turns out, its early sales figures have not been too shabby either.
Over 500,000 copies of the game have shipped around the world in the first week.
We loved the game, although one of its shortcomings is that it is buggy. Many gamers have reported experiencing audio and visual glitches and game freezes.
One common glitch is the game freeze which occurs shortly after the first murder scene investigation. Our PS3 froze up entirely and had to be rebooted, as did many other gamers’.
These bugs have been pervasive despite a patch being released for the game on launch day. The 200MB+ patch is thought by many who played the game pre-patch to have introduced a number of the glitches currently being experienced.
