Computer and Video Games are reporting that Playstation 3 exclusive Killzone 3 will support stereoscopic 3D gaming and will use the console’s upcoming motion controller hardware which is expected to be called the ‘Arc’.

According to a CVG ‘contact’ developers Guerilla Games will launch Killzone 3 as part of a big push for 3D televisions and Blu Ray players this coming festive season.

CVG has also been assured by the unnamed source that the information regarding the game is “rock solid”.

If these rumours prove to be fact then it is unclear how PS3 fans will receive the news. Killzone 2 is generally regarded as one of, if not the best PS3 exclusive first person shooter title. A departure from the game’s tried and tested foundation might upset hardcore fans.
