While Insomniac Games has been getting some buzz for its E3 showings of Sunset Overdrive and InFamous: Second Son, the developer has announced a new Ratchet & Clank adventure for the PS3, entitled Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus.
Into the Nexus will return the lombax and robotic duo back to their platforming adventure roots after spinning-off with All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault.
The game’s premise is said to be the epilogue to the current Ratchet and Clank Future timeline.
Expect gorgeously vivid visuals, planet-hopping, a hilarious story and, in traditional Insomniac style, insane weapons which can be upgraded to cause some serious havoc.
There is no release date, however, the trailer does say “coming soon.”
Insomniac’s most recent release is the four-play co-op shooter Fuse, which received some mixed reviews.
