Sony just revealed the pricing and release date information for its upcoming PlayStation Move motion controller, dubbed the PlayStation “Wand.”
The new hardware application is set for release on September 15 in Europe, and should be available locally shortly thereafter, although we will probably have to wait until Thursday to get local comment from SterKinekor.
The Move motion controller will cost $49.99 (R375) on its own. The second device which will be used in the second hand will cost $29.99 (R225). A bundle will be available combining both the handheld devices along with some Move enabled games for $99 (R750). A full PS3 bundle plus the Move controller, secondary controller, and games will cost $399 (R3000).
Sony only revealed US prices, and it is not advisable to directly convert dollar prices to Rands, and expect the Move to release at equivalent price points.
