PS Plus – free games for January 2015

It’s a new year! And a new year means a new month, and a new month means new free stuff for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

We’ll be checking out all the awesome games we can be expecting on Sony’s systems in the coming year soon enough, but for now, here’s what you can get your hands on come January 7th:

PlayStation 4 owners can get their hands on inFAMOUS First Light – the stand-alone downloadable content that ties in with the rather flashy inFAMOUS Second Son. You don’t need Second Son to play it, so go and give it a spin.

PlayStation 3 gamers have Prototype 2 and DuckTales Remastered to look forward to, and PS Vita lovers have Duke Nukem 3D and Woah Dave! – a crazy alien blaster from the makers of the BIT.TRIP series. And everyone can have The Swapper, because, why not?

These new titles do mean we say goodbye to the goodies from December, but, like, that’s so 2014, anyway, right?

As an added bonus (but not really) your PS Plus subscription will also be extended by 5 extra days – this is because Sony experienced massive downtime on PSN and they want to make up for it.

This is only available to people who had an active PlayStation Plus membership, or who had already activated their free trial, before or on 25 December.
