UPDATE: And now it’s officially a thing. The video announcing the collection has gone live and it’s exactly what we expected it to be.
We’re a little disappointed they haven’t bothered to include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, but it’s a collection worth getting nonetheless, when it’s cheap that is.
ORIGINAL STORY: As has always been the case, another gaming collection is leaked prematurely – and it seems to happen to Naughty Dog a lot.
This time, the PlayStation Store’s mobile app listed Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection a little earlier than was expected, although it’s been removed as a result.
We unfortunately don’t know much about what the collection might contain but we’re guessing Uncharted 1 through 3 and perhaps even the PS Vita release, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, much like what was done for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
Either way, we know that The Nathan Drake Collection is a thing because writer, creative director and programmer for Naughty Dog Neil Druckmann did all but confirm the existence of the collection via a recent tweet.
Well… that hit a few hours too early. See you in the AM. G'night y'all.
