Vote to Play is a cool idea and really brings a lot to the table for PS Plus members, as we have previously said.
It adds something different to PS Plus experience and puts more of the power for game line-ups into gamers’ hands, which can only be a good thing.
We can imagine that a few are going to be disappointed at the nominees made available, but that’s a rather subjective topic.
Vote to Play gives PS Plus members the freedom to vote for one of three titles as part of the PS Plus PS4 games line-up, for the following month.
Sadly, Vote to Play is not a monthly feature of PS Plus and will take place at regular intervals during the course of the year.
The three games confirmed for the first Vote to Play are:
Armello is a grim fairy tale board game that has come to life. It combines the deep tactical aspects of card game with rich tabletop strategy, and some RPG elements mixed in for good measure.
The game is set in a dark and vibrant magical world, where an epic struggle for power is taking place. As a player, you need toquest, scheme, explore, vanquish monsters, and perform the mad king’s decrees.
You also face off against other players, with the ultimate goal being to storm the palace and become the King or Queen of Armello.
In Grow Home, you play as BUD (Botanical. Utility. Droid), a robot with a mission objective to search and find the Star Plant, and save his planet.
In the game, you will discover a strange open-world: a planet of floating islands, with drops, caves and waterfalls for the player to navigate. All of this rendered in a minimalist yet beautiful art style.
As BUD grows the giant Star Plant, you will use unique climbing abilities to reach higher levels. But you will need to be careful as you climb, because one misplaced step could lead to a huge fall.
Zombie Vikings comes to us from the creators of indie hit Stick It to The Man.
The game brings with a new co-op experience where four players stab each other to death in undead viking brawler. Zombie Vikings promises to be an undead but funny adventure.
You will hack through locations like the boiling gingerbread swamps of Molgaga, travel through the intestines of the Midgaard Serpent, and even fight giant troll poultry. Interestingly you’ll also find out how Söccer was truly invented.
The decision for all which make game makes it to September’s PS Plus game line-up are up to gamers.
But your decision should be made easier when more guest posts from the developers of each game is released on the PlayStation blog.
To vote all you need to do simply log on to your PS4 with your SEN account and locate the Vote to Play link under “What’s New,” “Notifications” or in the PlayStation Store.
