Looks like Konami’s Xbox Live Arcade exclusive Castlevania: Harmony of Despair won’t be an XBLA exclusive for much longer – industry spies are saying the game is now prepping for a PlayStation Network launch.
That’s according to a report over on Siliconera, who claim the news comes via “two different sources”, who both remain otherwise anonymous. The project’s producer Koji Igarashi previously suggested the game might see a PSN port, however, lending some credibility to the rumour.
“Right now I’m focusing on Xbox Live Arcade,” he told Destructoid last year at E3, when asked about a PSN release. “But there might be a possibility with that. I hope this one sells, and then we can think about PSN.”
The game – a 2D action adventure supporting up to four co-op players – was met with very mixed reviews at launch last year, ultimately managing a pretty tepid 66 on Metacritic and 71 and GameRankings.
