PS3 Mass Effect 2 – More free DLC announced

6 January 2011

In a very clever bid to make PS3 gamers all over the planet love them forever, BioWare has just announced that the incoming PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 is packing even more free stuff – for a limited period.

According to a post on the company’s blog, “Until February 23rd, 2011, Mass Effect 2 players on Playstation 3 can download the Terminus Armor and M-490 Blackstorm Projector Weapon free of charge from the PSN Store. After Feb 23rd, the Terminus Gear will be available as paid DLC.”

These presents come along with all the Mass Effect 2 DLC missions – including Overlord, Kasumi’s Stolen Memory, and Lair of the Shadow Broker – which are bundled as part of the standard PS3 game release, as well as an interactive comic book, Mass Effect Genesis.

Mass Effect 2 for PS3 launches 21 January 2011, and should be a mandatory purchase for everybody who owns the console. That is all.
