Microsoft and Turn10 Studios have finally sealed the deal with the Zuffenhausen-based car manufacturer Porsche; after licencing disputes prevented this iconic brand from showcasing their beauties in Forza Motorsport 4.
Porsches – love ‘em or hate ‘em – have revolutionized the sport car industry. With their svelte exteriors to benchmark-setting performance, few can argue that this top German car-maker knows precision and knows it well.

Highlights
The Porsche expansion pack takes you on a journey dating back to the 50’s with the “Giant Killer” 550 Spyder all the way through the decades to the track hooligan 2012 GT2 RS.
There’s an extensive line-up of iconic GT and LMS Racers as well, sampling Porsche’s rich racing pedigree.
Nit-picking
A disappointment, again, was the lack of Autovista models but I think – optimistically – it would be short lived and we should see some featured in the near future.
Conclusion
Many will argue that this DLC should have been free as Porsche was originally missing at the launch of the title. But if you’re a true motoring enthusiast this should be a “no-brainer” and you’d happily part with your 1600 MS Points (roughly R220). I highly recommend this car pack as it completes an already fantastic variety of car manufacturers.
The Porsche expansion pack is a crucial part of the game. The Porsche specific events are deeply integrated into the game and will remain greyed-out in your Events Grid if you don’t own this pack.
Note: A download size of 328.98Mb was fair considering the extensive contents of the DLC. If you purchased a Forza 4 VIP Membership you will receive a 400 point discount off the price.
