Kim Kardashian Hollywood (which should hereafter and forever more be referred to as ‘KiKaHo’) is a click-and-wait mobile simulator which has become the go-to genre for anyone making games for mobile devices.

You don’t get to actually play ~~with~~ as Kim, but rather start off as Nobody McLoserpants, a guy or girl (your choice) with an insatiable desire to become super famous for no other reason than knowing other famous people.

After a chance opportunity to save Kimmy K from a fashion disaster at the retail store you work at, the A-lister takes pity on your nothingness and decides to bestow upon you a taste of her fame.

Thus begins your journey of mingling, dating, working, going on fashion shoots and to fashion shows, and taking part in TV ads – all to gain fans and boost your profile.

If it sounds like a diverse bunch of activities – it’s not. Every activity contains a set of tasks, which require energy to perform. As you can imagine, energy is limited and takes time to recover.

Completing tasks gives you money – which can be used to buy fashion items and styles; fans – which helps you climb from the E-list to the A-list; and experience – which lets you level up to unlock new items.

You can buy various properties, visit different cities, network with and date various people (same-sex included) and get your manager and publicist to deal with whatever scandals may/may not come your way (who needs all that dramz, right?).

The ultimate prize? Be as famous as Kimmy K, and be her BFF fo’ lyf. And when you close the app, you can walk around with a smug air of condescension, knowing that you’re a somebody.

If that doesn’t work out for you – a sex tape is still an option.
