SimCity’s return is one of the most anticipated resurrections in recent years. The series has been out of action for quite some time, and with the new look and feel for the franchise, it looks as if EA and Maxis are answering the prayers of building-sim fans.
The team at Maxis now breakdown some of the new features and inspiration behind the upcoming reboot, showing off the Glassbox engine which leaves the game looking absolutely gorgeous.
EA also recently confirmed a February 2013 launch window for the new SimCity, which isn’t actually a proper launch date, but it’ll have to make do for now.
