While we’ve already seen this tech demo in earlier showcases, this is the first time the Unreal Engine 4 has been seen running on the Playstation 4.

Shown at GDC 2013, the demo is unchanged from the original release, but was said to be “running in real-time on PS4”.

The highlights of the demo include dynamic lighting, particle effects and physics.

The demo, which was built in less than 3 months by 14 engineers, is said to be glimpse into what into where in-game visuals are heading.

So, even if epic decides to venture into another UT outing which I doubt, you’ll have to wait 4 years. (bookmark this link! 😛 )
