Assassin’s Creed 4: shark-hunting gameplay

6 August 2013
Assassin's Creed 4

One of the big additions to Assassin’s Creed 4 is the element of open-sea hunting, particularly with sharks and whales, and one of the game’s devs has explained and showcased the new feature in the game.

Assassin’s Creed 4 lead designer Sebastian Berton details the look and feel the team at Ubisoft wanted to create when going up against a shark, as well as the risks and rewards of taking on a shark.

Successfully hunting a shark will give you items to help you craft things that will help you in your adventure.

In addition to sharks and whales, there are four other unannounced sea creatures the hunt. A kraken perhaps?
