Mirror Edge real life

Mirror’s Edge was a massive step forward in first-person immersion, and while it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, it was an incredibly visceral and vertigo-inducing experience, much like it would be jumping across buildings.

The team at Ampisound has put together a live-action recreation of a Mirror’s Edge parkour segment, including everything from the music to the red glove Faith wore in the game.

Regarding the state of the Mirror’s Edge IP in gaming, EA and DICE announced Mirror’s Edge 2 via a teaser trailer shown at the publisher’s E3 press conference.

The short trailer showed that the original game’s heroine, Faith, will return for the sequel and it will run on DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine, which is also powering Battlefield 4.
