A teaser for a new Rogue One trailer that is set to debut soon has been posted online.
Yes, it’s a trailer for a trailer, but it’s Star Wars so we’ll forgive it. If history is any indication then we will forgive anything when it comes to Star Wars.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first stand-alone film in the franchise, and focuses on a band of rebels with a mission to steal the plans for the Empire’s Death Star.
It stars Felicity Jones from The Theory of Everything, Mads Mikkelsen from Hannibal, and Alan Tudyk from Firefly.
Two more Star Wars spin-offs, centred on Han Solo and Boba Fett, have also been announced since Disney took over the franchise.
Rogue One is expected to arrive in theatres in the US on 16 December 2016.
