Mario Kart 8 announced for Wii U

Mario Kart 8 has been announced by Nintendo, and will head exclusively to the Wii U.

The game is scheduled for a 2014 release and will bring the crazy over-the-top racing series to Nintendo’s current console.

There will be some new vehicles and tricks up the characters sleeves, allowing you to traverse in a number of new ways through the mind-bending tracks.

The game features 3D courses, motorcycles, underwater racing, online multiplayer, and Miiverse support.
