In honour of Gamescom 2016, Roberts Space Industries is allowing the public to play Star Citizen for free the entire weekend.<\/p>\n

Titled\u00a0Free Fly\u00a02016<\/strong>, the event offers players a free trial to experience Star Citizen in its current stage of development.<\/p>\n

Players will get to try out three ships: the\u00a0Mustang Gamma<\/strong>, Sabre<\/strong> and Freelancer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The game is still in Alpha and is not close to being completed, but some core features are already implemented, including free fly mode, racing, first-person\u00a0mechanics, and online play.<\/p>\n

You can sign up for the Free Fly here<\/strong> <\/a>and play the Star Citizen Alpha until Monday 22 August<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
