{"id":101814,"date":"2016-08-23T07:19:32","date_gmt":"2016-08-23T05:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=101814"},"modified":"2016-08-23T07:21:06","modified_gmt":"2016-08-23T05:21:06","slug":"playstation-plus-international-prices-set-to-increase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/101814-playstation-plus-international-prices-set-to-increase","title":{"rendered":"PlayStation Plus international prices set to increase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A post published on the official <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.us.playstation.com\/2016\/07\/27\/playstation-plus-free-games-for-august-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\">PlayStation Blog<\/a><\/strong> has confirmed that PlayStation Plus prices are set to increase in the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Prices for PlayStation Plus memberships will change to <strong>$59.99 USD\/ $69.99<\/strong> CAD for twelve months and <strong>$24.99 USD\/$29.99<\/strong> CAD for three months.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The monthly plan will change to <strong>$11.99<\/strong> CAD in Canada, and remain <strong>$9.99<\/strong> USD in the U.S.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The increase will come into effect on 22 September, or whenever your current subscription expires.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the first time prices have increased for the service in the US since the service&#8217;s launch in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>There is no word yet as to whether these increases will effect European and South African PlayStation Plus prices.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Do you have a US PS Plus account?
