{"id":101826,"date":"2016-08-23T09:16:14","date_gmt":"2016-08-23T07:16:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=101826"},"modified":"2016-08-23T09:16:58","modified_gmt":"2016-08-23T07:16:58","slug":"telkom-offers-r500000-reward-for-information-on-sabotage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/101826-telkom-offers-r500000-reward-for-information-on-sabotage","title":{"rendered":"Telkom offers R500,000 reward for information on sabotage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telkom has offered a <strong>R500,000 reward<\/strong> to anyone who has information regarding the sabotage of several of its lines and facilities..<\/p>\n<p>Over <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/176643-telkom-sabotage-causes-outages-impacting-thousands-of-users.html\" target=\"_blank\">132,000<\/a><\/strong> Telkom users have been hit by outages this last week after the company&#8217;s lines were deliberately sabotaged.<\/p>\n<p>This is likely as a result of the ongoing Communication Workers Union strike, which is currently well into its 4th week.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom said those responsible for the attacks \u201cknew what they were doing\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCables have been cut to cause maximum damage. Entire street distribution cabinets have been ripped apart and, in a few instances yesterday, set on fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Have any of your Telkom lines been affected by the sabotage?
