Nvidia’s new GeForce GTX 1060 3GB has officially landed in the country, delivering\u00a0the most affordable Pascal gaming experience yet.<\/p>\n

The 3GB VRAM version of the card is almost identical to the 6GB version,\u00a0with speeds differing slightly between models.<\/p>\n

It does also boast a slightly lowered CUDA core count (1,152 versus 1,280) and one less simultaneous microprocessor (9 versus 10), which brings the number of texture mapping units (TMUs) down to 72 (from 80).<\/p>\n

You probably won’t be using it to play 4K, although early indicators<\/a><\/strong> show that the card is around 10% faster than the Radeon RX 480.<\/p>\n
