{"id":102044,"date":"2016-08-25T07:48:29","date_gmt":"2016-08-25T05:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=102044"},"modified":"2016-08-25T07:49:29","modified_gmt":"2016-08-25T05:49:29","slug":"gamers-are-more-excited-for-call-of-duty-infinite-warfare-than-battlefield-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/102044-gamers-are-more-excited-for-call-of-duty-infinite-warfare-than-battlefield-1","title":{"rendered":"Gamers are more excited for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare than Battlefield 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Despite the flood of negativity surrounding its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EeF3UTkCoxY\" target=\"_blank\">announcement trailer<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still highly anticipated among gamers.<\/p>\n<p>According to a<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.investors.com\/news\/technology\/click\/most-anticipated-video-game-is-out-of-this-world\/\" target=\"_blank\"> recent survey\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>conducted by analysts at financial firm Piper Jaffray, Call of Duty is the most anticipated upcoming game, ranking higher than <strong>Battlefield 1<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Ghost Recon: Wildlands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The survey asked <strong>100 Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners<\/strong> which upcoming games they were most excited to get their hands on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>33%<\/strong> of the participants said they were most excited for Call of Duty, while only <strong>26%<\/strong> said Battlefield 1.<\/p>\n<p>Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare could be even more popular than previous games, as a similar study conducted in 2015 showed a<strong> 27%<\/strong> result for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.<\/p>\n<p>Although a\u00a0sample size of 100 participants does not accurately reflect the entire gaming market, the data is arguably more reliable than the amount of dislikes a YouTube video receives in relation to its competition.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Are you excited for Battlefield 1 or Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare?
