{"id":102323,"date":"2016-08-29T07:28:11","date_gmt":"2016-08-29T05:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=102323"},"modified":"2016-08-29T07:28:11","modified_gmt":"2016-08-29T05:28:11","slug":"samsung-unveils-100hz-qhd-freesync-gaming-monitor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/hardware\/102323-samsung-unveils-100hz-qhd-freesync-gaming-monitor","title":{"rendered":"Samsung unveils 100Hz QHD FreeSync gaming monitor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Samsung have officially unveiled the CF791, a<strong> 3,440&#215;1,440<\/strong> 100Hz HDR curved FreeSync display, reports<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.overclock3d.net\/news\/gpu_displays\/samsung_has_plans_to_release_a_100hz_hdr_3440x1440_freesync_display\/1\" target=\"_blank\"> OC3D<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The monitor uses DisplayPort 1.3 and Quantum Dot technology in order to deliver a display that offers <strong>full HDR support<\/strong> and a refresh rate of <strong>100Hz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Samsung,\u00a0the\u00a0monitor has 125% RGB colour support, using a high-quality VA panel with a 4ms response time.<\/p>\n<p>It supports both\u00a0DisplayPort and HDMI inputs\u00a0and\u00a0AMD FreeSync\/ VESA Adaptive Sync technology at 100Hz, though a minimum FreeSync refresh rate has not been specified.<\/p>\n<p>The monitor will be available to purchase later this year.
