Nothing is true, everything is permitted, but Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for PC won’t be shipping with Ubisoft’s controversial always-on DRM scheme.<\/p>\n

The publisher confirmed this with VG247<\/a>, explaining that an internet connection is only required for installation.<\/p>\n

“The PC version of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, after an initial login, will be playable offline in single player mode,” says the company’s rep.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft has previously announced it’s scrapping the DRM for a number of current titles.<\/p>\n

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood launches for PC on 18 March. If you missed them the first time around, here are the specs for the game:<\/p>\n
