Halo games and PC gamers have had a long history.<\/p>\n

While the first Halo port by Gearbox is considered one of the greatest ever, Microsoft then followed it up with the Vista-only Halo 2.<\/p>\n

Since then we’ve had nothing other than two slightly-above average twin-stick shooters.<\/p>\n

With the news that Halo 6 and Halo Wars 2 will be making the jump to Windows 10 however, it looks like PC may be “the” place to play the franchise going forward.<\/p>\n

It all starts with the release of Halo Forge in a couple of weeks time.<\/p>\n

PC gamers looking for a full Halo experience will likely still be dissapointed, as the “game” is more a glorified map editor with 16 v 16 multiplayer. That said, it does look to offer the core Halo 5 multiplayer experience to gamers on PC.<\/p>\n

The game will release for free on the Windows 10 store on 8 September.<\/p>\n
