MyGaming recently reported <\/a><\/strong>on a number of digital distributors that were offerring full refunds for No Man’s Sky, regardless of playtime.<\/p>\n

This caused massive controversy in the gaming community, as it would make it the first game to bypass Steam’s 2 hour refund policy.<\/p>\n

Speaking to PC Gamer<\/a><\/strong>, Valve has stated\u00a0that this is not the case, and that the same rules apply to No Man’s Sky as to any other game.<\/p>\n

As their policy states<\/ins><\/a><\/strong>, Valve will automatically refund any game for any reason if the request is made within fourteen days of purchase, and the title has been played for less than two hours.<\/p>\n

Things got so out of hand that Valve has updated the No Man’s Sky Steam page to reflect that no special treatment is being given.<\/p>\n
