Pokemon Go players have been involved in hundreds of police incidents since the app launched, reports <\/a><\/strong>the BBC.<\/p>\n

“Robberies, thefts, assaults and driving offences were among 290 incidents recorded across England and Wales throughout July.”<\/p>\n

In one strange incident, over 30 people were involved in a brawl surrounding the popular game.<\/p>\n

In another more disturbing incident, a man was found trying to lure children back to his home “as he had lots of Pokemon at his address”.<\/p>\n

We have reached out to the\u00a0South African Police Service for comment as to whether they have received similar reports in the country.<\/p>\n
