After recent controversial <\/a><\/strong>updates, it is a relief to many players that Pokemon GO will be getting some brand-new content.<\/p>\n

According to information found in the game’s code by several Reddit users<\/a><\/strong>, a bunch of new features are coming to Pokemon GO in its next big update.<\/p>\n

Check out the biggest upcoming changes below:<\/p>\n

Trading<\/h3>\n

Data miners found phrases such as “Trade_search” and “Trade_offer”\u00a0in the game’s code, meaning that players may finally be able to trade Pokemon.<\/p>\n

Buddy Pokemon<\/h3>\n

More hidden code refers to the implementation of Buddy Pokemon, allowing players to choose a single Pokemon to follow them as they walk and collect candies automatically.<\/p>\n

Legendary Pokemon<\/h3>\n

Even more references to Legendary Pokemon were found in the game’s code, although this time, users uncovered phrases that directly referred to players catching Legendary Pokemon.<\/p>\n

New Incense<\/h3>\n

Niantic will allow players to use special incense that will attract certain types of Pokemon, such as ice and water types.<\/p>\n

VR<\/h3>\n

Data miners also uncovered a VR folder in the game’s directory, along with various references to Google Cardboard and mobile VR solutions.<\/p>\n
