Ever wondered how much those Instagram “celebrities” make for advertising a product on their page?<\/p>\n

Not actual celebrities (although perhaps that’s unfair to say), but the people who typically make a living by being famous solely on Twitter or Instagram.<\/p>\n

The New York Times<\/a><\/strong> recently ran an article on the crack down of non-disclosed advertisements on social media and how much these advertisements tend to pay.<\/p>\n

“<\/strong>Captiv8, a company that connects brands to influencers, says someone with three million to seven million followers can charge, on average, $187,500 for a post on YouTube, $75,000 for a post on Instagram or Snapchat and $30,000 for a post on Twitter.”<\/p>\n

“For influencers with 50,000 to 500,000 followers, the average is $2,500 for YouTube, $1,000 for Instagram or Snapchat and $400 for Twitter.”<\/p>\n

That means these celebrities are earning about\u00a0R1 million ($69,292)<\/strong> an advertisement.<\/p>\n
