Steam’s rating system is a tad broken.<\/p>\n

For every informative and genuine review of a game there are dozen “funny reviews” that offer nothing to the casual buyer.<\/p>\n

Add this to the user ranking system that allows a game with ten positive reviews to outrank a game with 50,000 positive reviews and it can be incredibly difficult to seperate the wheat from the chaff.<\/p>\n

We took a look at the top-rated games according to Steam Database<\/a><\/strong> but also compared the number of reviews each game received and how many were positive and\/or negative.<\/p>\n
