One of the biggest reasons for Pokemon GO’s overnight was its ability to tap into the original Gameboy games’ nostalgia.<\/p>\n
Finally, players were given the chance to catch ’em all in the real world thanks to Pokemon GO.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately the experience wasn’t very deep, and those coming to the game looking for the classic turn-based gameplay left sorely disappointed.<\/p>\n
Pokemon Revolution Online (Pokemon PRO) may be just the thing for you.<\/p>\n
It takes the classic game formula and makes it massively multiplayer.<\/p>\n
That means all the regions, Pokemon, and gyms are exactly the same but the all the trainers in the world are all real people.<\/p>\n
Players\u00a0can trade and battle in real-time (with the option to turn instant battling off) and you can see where people are catching the best Pokemon as they swarm the bushes around the world.<\/p>\n
It’s also arguably more\u00a0balanced than the original games, and you will have to actually build your team according to an opponents strengths and weaknesses rather than just power-levelling.<\/p>\n
The game is currently in a live beta but developers Apricity Labs have gone on record to say that like the best MMOs, the game will never truly be complete.<\/p>\n
