Ever wanted to take your videogame skills to the real world?<\/p>\n
That’s exactly what Tomer Daniel and his crew of twelve hackers, welders, and coders did when they built a Space Invaders game<\/a><\/strong> for GeekCon 2016, reports Hackaday<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Tomer\u2019s company makes software for coordinating UAV fleets, so it\u2019s not a coincidence that he would have eight DJI Phantom\u2019s onhand and the ability drive them.<\/p>\n The team put together RGB LED matrices, laser sensors, and outfitted each Invader with its own Arduino.<\/p>\n The welders built up a track and cart so that the player would slide back and forth over a twenty meter set of rails.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The result is spectacular.
