I was going to play Rift, but then Myles nicked our review copy. So instead, I may begin a second play through of Bulletstorm. I also want to explore the Shogun 2 demo a bit more, and as a big fan of the original, I am mightily impressed so far. Otherwise, I expect to spend some time loving my new Roccat Kave 5.1 headset in Bad Company 2 online.<\/p>\n

Finally, I may get back into StarCraft II, but this is not a decision to be taken lightly.<\/p>\n

This weekend I’ll be sinking my teeth into Red Redemption’s indie management sim, Fate of the World<\/a>. The game simulates all the political and environmental upheaval humans and Earth might experience over the next 200 years, and tasks the player with keeping all the variables from spinning out of control and causing the globe to degenerate into a pretty horrible place to live. It’s a unique concept for a management game and I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays.<\/p>\n

After all that caring, I’m going to want to hit stuff. Luckily I have EA Sports’ Fight Night Champion to cater to all my bludgeoning needs.

Gentlemen, we are at war. Radio dispatches from the front have confirmed hostile manoeuvres in Echo-designated territories Desert, Hideout, Marina, and Rooftops, with latest intel suggesting additional strike action is imminent from multiple enemy forces. Strategic deployment and requisition of volatile ordnance and spiky stuff recommended to maximise anti-personnel engagement, and re-convert occupation of all primary zones. This weekend I’m hoping to finally break my Dead Space addiction and get into some serious Mass Effect 2; I’ve barely scratched the surface even after several hours of play and I feel some hermit-like behaviour is necessary to really get stuck in.<\/p>\n

I’ve also got Bulletstorm to look forward to as well as the second and third instalments of The Sly Trilogy, thus my geekier side is hoping this weekend’s social plans fall through so I can put a few hours into my flagging Dualshock-induced carpal tunnel.<\/p>\n

Seeing as I am working on a Rift review, I will be spending most of my free time loitering in the world of Telara for weeks to come. If I manage to sneak in some free time this weekend, I will likely have a look at Two Worlds II which I will be picking up this weekend after parting with a few titles at trade-in *sniff*.<\/p>\n

Other than that, it is back to my Mage in Rift. Sealing rifts and preventing invasions is all in a days work. Time to break a sweat!<\/p>\n

This weekend I’m going to be sinking my teeth into the Crysis 2 Multiplayer demo. I’ve only managed to play it for about an hour during the week, and unfortunately I’m still terrible. I aim to be air-stomping noobs left and right before the end of the weekend. Hopefully my maniacal cackling in the early hours of the morning won’t wake the neighbours. <\/p>\n

Aside from that, I’m hoping to finally get myself sorted with a copy of Bulletstorm (always takes a bit longer in this neck of the woods), and barring that, I’ll have to fall back onto old favourites like Starcraft 2. So looks to be a decidedly PC gaming weekend for me!<\/p>\n
