Windows 10 will not let gamers with specifications below the minimum requirements rate or review a game.<\/p>\n

This comes via confirmation of Reddit user nuplsstahp,<\/a><\/strong> who received the error message:<\/p>\n

“This app needs hardware that your device doesn’t have, which will hinder app performance. rating and reviewing is turned off.”<\/p>\n

On the one hand this is great, as it will cut down on reviews that concern technical issues and encourage ratings to focus on the game itself.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, some games are perfectly playable below system requirements (especially if they are disproportionately high) and this could lock out genuine reviews.<\/p>\n
