We&rsquo;ve just received topside confirmation &ndash; via the guys over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xboxgaming.co.za\/news\/microsoft-south-africa-no-local-gears-of-war-3-dedicated-servers\/\" target=\"_blank\">XboxGaming.co.za<\/a> &ndash; that local gamers won&rsquo;t be getting dedicated servers for the incoming multiplayer beta of Gears of War 3, nor the full game launch in September.<\/p>\n<p>Epic announced last year already that the third game would be getting dedicated server support to resolve long-standing issues with latency, although it&rsquo;s not clear whether options will remain in place for private hosting.
