A massive leak detailing Nvidia’s upcoming 2017 graphics cards hit\u00a0Baidu hardware forums yesterday, reports Wccftech<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Part of these leaks is the news that more Pascal cards were on the horizon.<\/p>\n

“The rumor is that NVIDIA plans to offer more chips based on the GP102 architecture.”<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

“They already have a partially\u00a0enabled model known as Titan X available to consumers but they would try to offer more variants in the stack.”<\/p>\n

This is not dissimilar to the approach Nvidia took with its 700 series which was based on refreshed Kepler cores.<\/p>\n

The big news<\/strong> however, is Nvidia’s upcoming Volta cards.<\/p>\n

“For those excited about Volta in the consumer section, you might be a bit disappointed.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

“Volta, as mentioned, will launch first for the\u00a0professional\u00a0market and followed by a consumer launch. That launch is expected around 2018, not 2017.”<\/p>\n

The aforementioned Pascal refresh will make up the majority of of 2017 and “that architecture will be fully tuned for next generation AAA gaming titles.”<\/p>\n

With that said, there were\u00a0some very interesting details about the upcoming Volta cards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We know they will feature GDDR6 memory which is expected to go beyond a staggering 16GB\/s.<\/p>\n

In addition, Volta cards will arrive in 16 GB Standard Capacity Variants and will feature full HBM2<\/a><\/strong> compliance.<\/p>\n
