It’s no secret that one of the biggest selling points of Call of Duty: Infinite warfare is access to the Modern Warfare remake.<\/p>\n

That’s why recent rumours <\/a><\/strong>that the remaster could be sold separately had us incredibly excited.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately,\u00a0OutofLives <\/a><\/strong>has now confirmed that you will not only require a copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to play Modern Warfare Remastered, but physical versions will also require the disc to be in the machine.<\/p>\n

We can’t help but think this is a missed opportunity by Activision, as the high price point of the new game could\u00a0will lock many consumers\u00a0out.<\/p>\n

The Digital Legacy Edition (the version that includes the Modern Warfare Remaster) currently clocks in at R1,549<\/strong><\/a> for the digital console versions.<\/p>\n
