Those of you who owned a copy of Spiderman 2 on the PlayStation 2 (or another console) would have experienced the best superhero game of that generation.<\/p>\n
Why was it the best?<\/p>\n
Not because of the story, graphics or soundtrack but because of how damn good it felt to swing around the city.<\/p>\n
The web-swinging was modeled on real-world physics meaning you actually had to connect to buildings and quite literally throw yourself around the city.<\/p>\n
No game has done it properly since (not even other Spiderman games), until now.<\/p>\n
Koei Tecmo’s Attack on Titan<\/strong> is also not a great game by all accounts.<\/p>\n It’s graphically quite stylish, but the mundane fetch quests that serve to act as a storyline and the repeated taking down of Titans begins to grate after a while.<\/p>\n But it’s the gameplay that truly shines, as each character is given an omni-directional jetpack that has you zipping between Titans and buildings at breackneck speeds.<\/p>\n It plays remarkably like the aforementioned Spiderman game (I’m not the only one who thinks\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>so) and it’s an absolute blast to just swing around.<\/p>\n If you’re looking for your superhero fix this year, the unlikely Attack on Titan is the best there is.<\/p>\n Which brand of graphics card should you buy?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Highest-rated video games of 2016 (so far)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
