Battle: Los Angeles will add to the slowly growing stable of 3D capable games on the Xbox 360, compatible with TVs that support stereoscopic 3D display. Presumably the PS3 version will also come packing 3d support.<\/p>\n
Players will assume the role of Corporal Lee Imlay and fight alongside characters from the film and defend the city of Los Angeles from attacks from ‘unknown forces’ – BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS SPOILER ALERT: it’s aliens.<\/p>\n
Players will battle “unique and varied” enemies through the streets of Los Angeles using an arsenal of weapons which include an assault rifle, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, frag grenades, and a turret gun. Destructible environments feature thanks to the Havok Destruction Module which will allow players to destroy scaffolding structures, vehicles and overpasses to eliminate enemy forces.<\/p>\n
Battle: Los Angeles the video game is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points with the PlayStation Network version coming out on March 22nd for US$9.99.
