Many gamers using Microsoft’s Windows 10 have recently been\u00a0experiencing\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>micro-stutter issues and reduced gaming performance on the OS.<\/p>\n

While some tech-savvy users\u00a0may already have fixed their performance problems, some may not be aware of certain settings that can reduce gaming performance on Windows 10.<\/p>\n

Due to a recent update to the operating system, some users may have had some settings restored to their default configuration, including Game DVR.<\/p>\n

This feature records gameplay and screenshots but can considerably affect performance, causing issues such as micro-stutter and framerate irregularities.<\/p>\n

Here’s how to fix the problem, courtesy of ListeningPost<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Go into your Xbox app and disable Game DVR\u00a0via the toggle switch. You may have to login to see these settings.<\/p>\n

And it’s that easy, you should experience less micro-stutter and performance issues, although keep in mind your gaming performance problems could be caused by other issues.<\/p>\n
