BioWare has been quick to respond to some of the more general issues being experienced, and within a week they had a patch 1.01 beta out in the wilds. Now the final Dragon Age II patch version 1.01 has been released; the short list of fixes is below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * Fixed save game issues on single core machines<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * Fixed game asking for non-existent drives<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * Fixed release control issues where some players were unable to unlock correctly<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * Fixed a Steam-specific issue related to VO not playing after switching languages<\/p>\n<p>To grab the patch, a meagre 9mb download, head on over to the <a href=\"http:\/\/social.bioware.com\/page\/da2-patches\" target=\"_self\" title=\"BioWare Dragon Age II patch webpage\">BioWare Dragon Age II patch webpage<\/a>, which also contains a download link for the High Resolution Texture pack if you aren&rsquo;t happy with the standard textures.
