Adult website Pornhub has revealed a 213% increase in the “clown” search-term.<\/p>\n

This follows a number of incidents around the world where scary clown sightings have hit a fever pitch<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“The situation is so absurd that police departments are pleading<\/a><\/strong> with the attention-seekers to stop dressing up as evil clowns to scare people, while a woman organized a \u201cpeace march\u201d that had been scheduled for Saturday night in support of clowns.”<\/p>\n

We’re not sure how the morbidly curious turned to the erotic, but adult searches for circus-themed terms has seen a serious uptick in the last month.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most interesting statistic is that women are 33% more likely to search for clowns than men<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
