The internet was abuzz this past week after a new Pok\u00e9mon was revealed that looked suspiciously like US Presidential Candidate Donald Trump.<\/p>\n
Gumshoos<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is a mongoose Pok\u00e9mon that seemingly features Trump’s infamous blonde comb-over as well as a sour demeanor.<\/p>\n The design wasn’t intentional, said creators\u00a0Junichi Masuda<\/a><\/strong> and Shigeru Ohmori<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in a recent interview with Game Informer<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a very American-centric question I think, and actually a lot of people sent me comparison photos on Twitter pointing out the resemblance. But we had started the design of this Pok\u00e9mon a long time back, and we didn\u2019t have any intention to make it look like Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t really look at current events that are going on, but one thing we do do sometimes when designing Pok\u00e9mon is kind of see what kids of that era might like.
