phones return to South Africa &#8211; launch dates and pricing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lenovo has relaunched the Motorola brand in South Africa, beginning with the Moto Z smartphone.<\/p>\n<p>The phone will be available in South Africa from 1 November at Takealot.com and Cellucity, with Dion Wired set to sell it from 13 November.<\/p>\n<p>The Z comes in at 5.19mm thick \u2014 thanks to it dropping the headphone jack in favour of a USB Type-C adapter \u2014 and supports a range of \u201cMods\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mods are accessories that snap onto the back of the device, such as a Hasselblad compact camera mod, an extended battery, and a pocket projector.<\/p>\n<p>The Moto Z is made from \u201cmilitary aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel\u201d, and features a 5.5-inch quad-HD display.<\/p>\n<p>Hardware specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and microSD support for up to 2TB.<\/p>\n<p>A 13MP main camera, 5MP front camera, fingerprint reader, and \u201cwater-repellent coating\u201d are also counted among the phone\u2019s features.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended retail prices of the Moto Z, which will be available in black and lunar grey,\u00a0and
