According to German publication <a href=\"http:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=de&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;sl=de&amp;tl=en&amp;u=http:\/\/www.pc-max.de\/news\/spiele\/crysis-2-spekulationen-um-directx-11-und-details-zum-ersten-patch&amp;prev=_t&amp;rurl=translate.google.com\" target=\"_blank\">PC-Max<\/a>, the patch was to be released on &ldquo;28.3&rdquo;,&nbsp; and would &ldquo;also integrate an expanded graphics menu.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>This did not happen, and a Crytek employee has posted the following statement in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mycrysis.com\/forums\/viewtopic.php?f=40&amp;t=15962\" target=\"_blank\">official Crysis forums. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No patch was ever confirmed, I have no idea why this website even posted such information.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This thread is locked just the same as the others for trying to spread inaccurate information. When there are any big announcements regarding Crysis 2 they will be posted on MyCrysis, if you read something about a patch for example, but don&#8217;t see it on MyCrysis.com, then it isn&#8217;t genuine.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Crytek&rsquo;s principle R&amp;D graphics programmer, Tiago Sousa, did however confirm via his <a href=\"http:\/\/translate.googleusercontent.com\/translate_c?hl=de&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;sl=de&amp;tl=en&amp;u=http:\/\/twitter.com\/CRYTEK_TIAGO&amp;prev=_t&amp;rurl=translate.google.com&amp;twu=1&amp;usg=ALkJrhioXZVJ4WII9sBOmhly6n3CAjiRSQ\" target=\"_blank\">twitter profile<\/a> that the team is currently working on a DirectX 11 patch.
