According to Thejoypads<\/a>, Crytek earlier announced that it will be releasing a brand new patch for the PC version of Crysis 2 “shortly”.<\/p>\n

The tweat seems to have been removed, but according to Thejoypads, it simply said “Hey PC gamers, a Crysis 2 patch will be going live within the next few hours!”<\/p>\n

It appears that this patch will not introduce DirectX 11 support, and instead will make the following changes:<\/p>\n

Fix for spurious characters appearing when initiating text chat<\/p>\n

 •         Fix for Chatlog doesn’t disappear after kill cam<\/p>\n

•         Fixed occasional login issues<\/p>\n

•         Changed VOIP defaults<\/p>\n

•         Fixed some UI aspect issues on multiple monitors<\/p>\n

•         Added option for crouch toggle in MP & SP<\/p>\n

Crytek also tweated that it is currently working on “removing expoits from Crysis 2” and that they will “penalize those that chose to use them”.<\/p>\n
