Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection was released for PS4 and Xbox One earlier this week, and features remastered versions of the three games centered around the assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze.<\/p>\n

Usually, remastered games provide general improvements to graphics, such as better textures or overhauled lighting.<\/p>\n

Looking at the remastered version of Assassin’s Creed 2 however, Polygon<\/strong> <\/a>discovered that some things were a bit out of place.<\/p>\n

While the buildings and weather effects of Florence look more detailed and impressive, something is a bit weird about the faces of the remastered characters.<\/p>\n

The faces of most characters\u00a0have been lightened and facial features have been changed to\u00a0deliver more prominent eyes and brighter lips.<\/p>\n

Some characters still look fine, but others look downright weird:<\/p>\n

The character on the right has been completely changed, from his outfit to his\u00a0facial features.<\/p>\n

In addition to the strange character faces, climbing\u00a0has also been altered, with Ezio’s animations being less smooth and the player getting stuck more often.<\/p>\n
